Yes, guys, you can do one hell of a training using your own body. In this article, I am going to show you 5 bodyweight exercises which will not only save the time of your day but will also add up to the pump and help you feel more energetic and healthy.

Before jumping into those 5 exercises, let us first know what bodyweight exercises actually means?

 What are Body Weight Exercises?
Body Weight Exercises are basically strength training exercises that do not require any kind of free weights or machine weights. Here the individual's own body weight provides resistance against gravity. These kinds of exercises increase strength, endurance, and power.

These are the 5 body weight exercises I would suggest you guys should do daily.

SQUAT: Squats is a lower body exercise which uses your legs as the working part of the body. Squats can be performed anywhere with limited space. It strengthens the lower body. It works on all the major muscle groups of the legs. Squats also help in mobility and flexibility.



PUSH UP: Push Up is an upper body exercise which uses your hands as the working part of the body. It targets the chest muscles. It is performed at a prone position by raising and lowering the body using the arms. Push Ups helps in developing upper body muscle density and muscle mass by focusing mainly on the pectoral muscles and also the triceps and shoulders as the secondary muscles.



PULL UP: Pull up is an upper body pulling exercise. Pull up works on your back muscles. It is a great exercise to build strength and add mass in your back. Pull Up is a great example of a compound movement as it works on so many muscles at once including your lats, shoulders, arms, and core. Pull Up also helps in developing the grip strength. One of the major benefits of doing pull-ups is that it helps in weight loss.



BURPEE: This could be the most challenging body weight exercise as because this exercise works on the whole body engaging the upper body, lower body, and the core. it helps in developing individuals fitness levels. As because burpees are intense exercise, it helps in shredding the unwanted fats from your body. So it will be a nice idea if you leave those recumbent bikes and do some burpees instead.



PLANK: Plank is the most beneficial exercise you should do on a daily basis. Though it is a simple movement to do but it requires almost every muscle of your body to maintain the correct position. holding the plank position every day for around 40-50 seconds would do wonders for you. Doing plank every day can help to reduce the back and spine pains. It helps in boosting the metabolism. It also works in improving the posture of the body.
